Established in 1923 as Carey Appliance, founder Walter E. Carey and his associates sold and serviced appliances to homeowners in the community. What Mr. Carey found was that the homeowners also had a need for electrical services, so they expanded their offerings.

By 1958 the demand for electrical services grew, leading to the launch of Carey Electric Cont., Inc. The founder, Richard Carey, continued the culture of hard work by putting in long hours as an electrician during the day and estimating projects on nights and weekends. Richard’s commitment to hard work, honesty and excellence are the foundation of Carey Electric Cont., Inc.

Our dedication to getting the job done right, on time, and on budget has helped us earn the trust of many valued customers. The Carey family and staff have built Carey Electric Cont., Inc. on successful business practices for almost a century and will continue to serve our clients with the honesty and integrity they expect.
